62yr male. Non-diabetic/non hypertensive patient presented with pain both knee while walking even at night also. He has difficulty in stair climbing and sitting cross-legged and hardly able to walk more than 15 min. Clinically- he has 5 degree varus and fixed flexion deformity of 10 degree and range of motion 10-100 degree. He has medial joint line tenderness. Radiologically, he has advanced medial compartment arthritis only with intact lateral compartment cartilage. His inflammatory arthritis markers are also normal. He underwent unicompartmental knee arthroplasty both knees at 5 days interval. He was out of bed with almost painless walking on very first postoperative day. On 6 weeks follow up he is able to sit cross-legged and climbs upstairs and downstairs easily.
